i believe in giving back to the community....doing a good deed definately brightens up ur day...
went Chinatown yday morning to celebrate the mooncake festival with the elderly ppl...got pooled in to help by one SMU senior....It was under the Tzu Chi foundation..felt abit uncomfortable cos of their beliefs...but the seniors were very nice to me and each have pretty interesting character....some had even graduated....and the most interesting fact is this:
i've found another person who has the name going like ___gui.....
so i'm not the onli "gui" around.... the day was pretty smooth flowing...but the sight that i saw was saddening...we were given the task to fetch the eldery from their apartments....they stayed in studio apartments aka 1 room flat....corridors were dimly lit and apartment was small...i was assigned to this ah ma who has osteoporosis since i'm among the few who can speak Cantonese..she's a very nice ah ma living with her son...saw her hunching her back where ever she go..so me and yugui helped ard while waiting for another gal to push the wheelchair to the apartment...the overall performance was so so...little kids sang & dance...everything was so heart whelming...
after that I went off with one of the "graduated" senior...haha...a very interesting guy...favourite hobby is to sleep...and a "shao ye" lor....but then gotta thank him for bringing me to outram park mrt stn la......
But dun say him la...cos I went home to sleep oso...then overslept...budden nvm cos meeting pj classmates...and it's common to be late....haha....then had dinner at seoul garden...feeling so poor now...took a few photos with serene and all....felt funny taking pics at a shopping centre and it was outside expressions somemore…izit hinting tt I shld cut down the oily food?? I dun wanna grow fat................................
